Coderon Training AWS Cloud Architecture
AWS Cloud Architecture
Design scalable, resilient and cost-effective systems on AWS with the Well-Architected Framework — decisions you will not undo at the first outage.
On AWS the expensive part is not the machines — it is architectural decisions made on instinct, whose consequences only surface at the first outage or the first bill nobody can defend. This training gives you a structure that replaces instinct: the six Well-Architected pillars as a decision tool, not a checklist to tick off.
Who it is for
Training for people responsible for architectural decisions on AWS who want to ground them in a proven framework rather than intuition. It pays off most for teams already running systems in production — where questions about availability, disaster recovery and cost have stopped being theoretical.
How we run it
We work through case studies and real design dilemmas, not a walkthrough of the documentation. Across the course you run a condensed Well-Architected review on a sample system: you identify risks in each pillar, weigh the trade-offs, and produce concrete recommendations with their cost and priority.
What you take away
- The six Well-Architected pillars used as a decision-making tool, not a checklist
- High availability and disaster recovery designed to real requirements (RTO/RPO), not “just in case”
- The ability to read and model cloud cost before it becomes a budget problem
- Identity, networking and data protection laid out on a least-privilege basis
- Governance and a multi-account strategy for a growing organisation
AAgenda
AWS Well-Architected
- The six pillars and how to apply them in practice
- Architectural trade-offs and their consequences
- The Well-Architected review process
Scalability and reliability
- High-availability patterns and multi-AZ design
- Resilience and disaster-recovery strategies
